1999 Volkswagen Jetta Wolfsburg Edition Description
You are bidding on a 1999 Volkswagen Jetta, Wolfsburg Edition 2.0L 4-cylinder, 4-door sedan. I will advise the good and the bad.
The good:Body is in good shape - to the best of my knowledge it has never been in an accident. The paint generally looks good. I just tuned up the engine and put on new brakes. The tires are in good shape. Has cruise control, AM/FM with cassette. The car runs and drives fine, and before my daughter gave it back to me to sell, it was driven daily. The car is equipped with power windows and door locks and has a power sunroof/moonroof. Theair-conditioning and heat work fine. It has a sporty looking spoiler. New carpet mats.
The bad:The transmission sometimes shifts a little abruptly. It has been this way since wegot it about 6 years ago, so it is not like it is some new condition. At one point I researched it and some folkssaid that was typical of this make of Jetta. Some of the seats have some stains on them, particularly in the back. There is a lower piece of trim missing on the passenger side. If you are not looking for it, you probably won't notice. It has a CD player with a 6-CD changer in thetrunk, but it is missingthe CD tray. (So, I didn'tadvertise it as having a CD player). It needs a new muffler.
All-in-all, it should make a good little college car.
