2009 VW Jetta S, 2.5L 5-speed manual
The good:
1. I Bought it used and rebuilt from a rebuild dealer in North Carolina with about 60k miles and it now has a bit over 140k. Miles go up slowly as this is still my daily driver. Has been very dependable. 5 speed manual, clutch grips well with no slips. Has VW factory EOS wheels which look a bit cooler than Jetta wheels
2. No leaks of any kind
3. Has had oil changes with Mobil 1 Synthetic every 6k miles or less
4. 3 new tires; lots of new parts
5. Interior in pretty good shape (one seat is missing an adjustment knob, but no rips/tears/stains)
6. Have all receipts and paperwork from repairs
The bad:
1. A/C doesn't work
2. Front suspension is squeaky/noisy. Has newer struts, but I think strut mounts are possibly bad.
3. Has some rust spots and wear and tear
4. Has an airbag light (came on after messing w/fuses in fuse panel, but could be passenger seat weight sensor)
5. Has a rebuilt title; was a front hit. Fully repaired, except drivers headlight assembly is not fully mounted (I just never fixed it)
6. Check engine light sometimes comes on (it's on now), but codes are usually only evap related.
7. Starts on 2nd or 3rd turn but not usually first turn unless car has been running.
8. A couple of times in the last two months (once in November, once in December) the ABS/traction lights have come on; I think it may have a speed sensor going bad (not an expensive part, just haven't done anything about it).
Other details
I'm selling this car because I now have a job that requires a truck and I recently got that; just don't need the extra car.
I'll try to take some better pictures soon as well and get them into the listing.
I'm willing to drive a bit to meet with you; car shippers can be pretty expensive. I'll try to work with you however I can regarding shipping / pickup, etc. I require a $500 deposit through paypal and then the rest via cashier's check / cash. Reserve is set at a very low $2000!
