This car has never seen a track, hpde or autox. It gets driven to dinner, then around town...then it goes back into the garage. It's had one owner, myself. I'm 40, a professional who did this for fun. Basically it's a garage queen that occasionally sees spirited driving on the highway. It runs very well and will continue to do so for a long time. All of the components were chosen based on quality. The downpipe and intercooler are from Germany. I purposely left the exhaust stock after the downpipe so it wouldn't have an annoying sound quality. It does not restrict performance in any significant way. The car is FAST (0-60MPH in under 4 seconds). To get this type of performance and reliability, you'll need to spend much more typically. These R's are built like a tank and are very fun to drive. I've enjoyed it immensely. I don't drive much since I work from home. I'm getting relocated to Chicago and will live in the city, which makes multiple vehicles impractical. It's the only reason I'm selling. I am *incredibly* anal about how I maintain vehicles. There are absolutely *ZERO* mechanical issues with the vehicle and there never have been. All of the work has been done at O'steen volkswagen of Jacksonville, Fl..they are an APR tuner/dealer. The car has been opti-coated (paint/wheels/door jambs). Note the surface tension on the roof picture from the opti-coat. If you aren't familiar with it, it's basically a ceramic clear coat with 9H hardness. It's chemical resistant (bird droppings won't etch it), and will keep the paint looking great for a long time. All of the hard work has been done, all you have to do is enjoy it. This car is the ultimatesleeper.
