1970 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic Description

This 1970 Volkswagen Beetle Baja conversion has been well-done and well-sorted. The builder started with a rust-free Bug from the California desert, so there is no corrosion like most early Bugs.
Even better? It just passed emissions with flying colors and is registered for street use.
Perfect for hunting, camping, or just bombing around out in the desert, and it's even great on the highway. I've driven it to work a few times, and it behaves well in traffic and on the freeway. I've got several classic cars, and would like this one to go to someone who really appreciates an old VW.
Pertronix ignition, Empi stinger with Supertrapp-style silencer, and some chrome dress-up bits. Tires have great tread, interior has been restored, seat belts are functional, all gauges work, and there's room for four (OR lots of gear in the back seat and on the roof rack).
