2008 Volkswagen Rabbit Description

Please serious bidders only.
I've had this car for two and a half years. It's be great and it runs extremely well. I've taken it on a number of trips to upstate New York, Vermont, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, and all over Long Island and have never had a problem with it. It's been kept up with maintenance, oil changes, and recently had a tune up.
When I bought it, it had a salvage / rebuilt title from Connecticut, but after reviewing all of the records, talking with the original / previous owner, and having a mechanic look at it, everything checked out. I never would have purchased it otherwise. There was no frame damage or water damage whatsoever. The car only had body damage as a result of rear ending a box truck, and it simply damaged a lot of different parts in the front of the car (bumper, hood, lights, fenders).
After bringing it back to New York, it was inspected and gone over again by another mechanic and everything checked out again and then it went through New York State's vehicle salvage exam and passed and a new title was issued to me. If you are registering this car in New York, you don't have to do the salvage exam again.
There are some recent body issues on the passenger side door and passenger side front fender (it was parked and a truck side swiped it), but there isn't anything wrong with the door opening or closing or the frame, it's only cosmetic (it was looked at by a mechanic).
In addition to the car running great, the interior is also in great condition.
I'll be very sad to see it go, but I don't drive it that often, and I just can't justify having to park it on the street and move it around twice a week for alternate side parking in Brooklyn anymore.
