1966 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic Description

This is ano reserve 7 day auction for a classic1966 VW convertible beetle.
This bug starts right up and runs and drives great. It has the original 1300cc motor with 4 speed stick shift. The clutch, brakes, steering and shifting are all good. All the lights, signals, wipers, gauges, doors, windows and locks work. It is complete and straight with the original spare and key. The odometer reads 44,070.
The convertible top functions but has rips so it is kept down. It has been garaged for the last 20+ years. It has rear floor rust but has replacement metal pans installed. The frame is solid and doors close nicely. The front fenders and paint are not original. The paint is touched up but there is no body filler. The upholstery has tears.
This vehicle is a reliable daily driver you can enjoy now. It's fun to drive and easy to maneuver and park. It gets good gas mileage and attracts lots of attention. Everyone just loves this vintage vw bug. The license plate reads PDX 683.We have a clear Oregon title.

Location: Vehicle is located and must be picked up at 2812 SE Powell, Portland, Oregon 97202 within 14 days of auction end.
Shipping: Sorry no shipping. Buyer is responsible for all shipping cost andarrangements. We will work and co-ordinate with your shipper toarrange the vehicle pick-up at anytime.
Deposit: A $500 cash deposit must be paid within 24 hours of auction end. For this payment I accept pay-pal, e-check direct bank deposit, an overnight cashiers check or cash in person.
Payment: Full payment must be made within 72 hours of auction end. For this balance due payment Ido NOT accept pay-pal. The only forms of payment for the remaining vehicle price I accept are:
