Here is an incredibleopportunity at owning a 2002VW Eurovan Weekender with a 2.5TDIwith 5 speed transmission! I bought this converted van with a 2.5 TDI engine codeAVC from Germany. All the parts for this swap were imported by quality German Auto Parts in CA. A professional did all the work. The gauge cluster is from a TDI Eurovanfrom the UK and does read in MILES. The odometer on this cluster reads 300k which in again not what is actually on the van and engine/trans. Front and rearA/C and heat work great.Doesn't burn oil, doesn't leak oil, does not use coolant. I have alwaysran synthetic oil. It has a clear title. No salvaged or rebuilt title here.

This vanis in very good conditionand has 140k on engine and chassis. It isclean inside and never smoked in.Interior is about an 8 out of 10. This van lived most of its life in California and was shipped Texas so it has always been in a dryer climate and the underside shows this with absolutely no rust at all. The body is in good condition with normal wear for its age.As a multivan it has the rear bench seat which folds down into a bed for the camping/traveling enthusiast.

NEW & Recent:

• New Toyo tires with about 500 miles on them. Yes! They are rated for the weight of the van.

• NewCV joints

• Recent rebuild of injectors and injection pumpand converted to anall-mechanical injection; also known as the MTDI for $2400. It essentially makes yourTDI enginerun without the need of theECU or inputs from sensors. You can read more about theMTDI conversion online.All of the parts and wiring are still in the van and uncut to allow you to return the van back to a stock TDI electronic/mechanical and can be sourced from a supplier or online Ebay UK.

• New head and head gasket

What's included:
The van come with two huge and handy Bently service manuals andthousands of dollars in receipts. I will provide a little log book with details of when items were changed and actual mileage of engine and trans.

Things to note:
Please note the cruise control does not work as it is now mechanically controlled throttle, if you reinstall the original injection pump that is "fly by wire" you would get your cruise control back.
The only issue is the abs light is on, I'm not sure why.I have never took it in to have it tested. $300 for an add on cruise control can be bought and installed.

This is truly a great running van that needs nothing and will serve you well for years to come and provide you with superior fuel economy of 30-35MPG. Thischariot is ready to go to Florida and back!

I forgot a few things, the van power/speed wise feel like a stock 2002 tdi golf or Jetta So it definitely no slug. The van also has newer bilstien shocks on all four corners. I also have two flip out key fobs and the remote entry work perfectly. The electric mirrors don't work but they can be moved manually. I just set them and never change them.
