2009 Volkswagen Routan Description

I have 2009 Vw Routan van with 159 000 miles. The vehicle is equipped with power sliding doors, sunroof, sirius satellite radio, cold AC, 3rd row seats and much more. I love the car which I purchased recently but a week ago after driving for a while the CHECK ENGINE CAME ON and the car went to a limp mode. It looks like I was driving on second speed not being able to go over 40MPH. On the next day the car was just fine.
