1999 Volkswagen Beetle-New Description

A great electric 1999 VW Beetle conversation. Fully registered, plated and complaint as an EV since 2014. Title in hand. Utilizes a set of CALB LiFEPo batteries that are worth the auction price on their own.
Vehicles EV Specifications:- 153V system with 48 Calb 180 Ahr batteries- 27.6 kWh battery pack- 75 miles of max range in this area.- Vehicle has electric heat (defroster & cabin)- NetGain Warp 9 DC Electric motor- Masterflux AC Compressor is installed. AC Controller included in sale.- Curtis 1231C PMC Controller- Full gauges: SOC, Voltage, Amps, Brake vacuum, etc.- Onboard PFC 2500 battery charger capable of using 110V or 220V.- AirLift 100 air suspension system- All pre-existing 1999 VW Bug accessories.
Vehicle is operational and the batteries are in great condition with many years of life left. It comes with many extra items: A set 90+ Nord-Lock washes, 48+ Braided straps, extra contactor, A test set of A123 battery modules. A 220V charge cable and a 120V charge cable so you can charge anywhere there is an outlet. Full documentation for the EV is part of the sale (manuals, drawings, spec sheets). Two keys available with the car.
Issues: The only EV related issue is the Curtis 1231C controller; it's at the end of its life and needs to be replaced. One of the IGBTs is failing and causes disruptions of power to the NetGain motor. All other systems work fine. My plan was to either do a quick replacement with a new 1231C (a swap) or upgrade to a Soliton Jr. for more power for about the same price. However, given my lack of time and garage space currently, I decided to sell the vehicle.
The buyer could choose to do a controller exchange and be on the road in days. Or use this car as a wonderful parts bin for their own EV project. Another option is to just purchase it for the Calb 180 Ahr batteries; these great cells would cost over $9000 to purchase from CALB. They can be used in a home solar installation or for backup power source at your home. Lots of choices here for a builder or clean energy advocate to have fun. See the pictures provided for more information.
