1973 Volkswagen Bus/Vanagon Bay window Microbus Description

Here is a mostly all original orient blue & pastel white type 2 Bay WindowMicrobus. It was born 6/15/1973 with an automatic transmission. 1973 was the 1st year you could order and automatic transmission. This is a very restorable clean Florida title project bus. It needs all of the usual rust repairs such as work on both the front and cargo floor area, windshield channel, rockers, etc. The drip rails have a little spotting on them, nothing like what it looks like in the pictures ( I totally forgot to blow the leaves off). The transmission and shifter are include but the engine and steering column are not along with other small misc parts. The original sliding door is also included, it was removed previously. Unlike most project busses you see this one has nothing to hide. It's easy to see what needs to be done without wondering about sub-standard prior repairs and hidden rust. If you've been looking for a good starting point at a very reasonable price look no further.
