Requires the following fixes:

• Engine can start, however unsafe to drive as is - likely requires a new engine head gasket.
• NO abnormal 'knocking' noise from engine, so likely engine block is fine
• Coolant leak. Requires new water pump, thermostat, hoses, among other things.
• Likely requires new spark plugs.
• Oil leak. Requires new oil pan and gasket. Possible additional fixes.
• Worn suspension arms/ control arm bushings/ shock absorbers. Not critical, but would recommend replacing.
• May require new timing belt.
• Trunk latch broken. Cannot open trunk from outside or inside using trunk release. Trunk can, however, be opened using emergency latch inside trunk.
• Glove box latch broken.
• Car has been involved in front, side, and rear collisions. Hence, there are dents on driver side panels, especially above both wheel arches. There is some frame damage on the undercarriage, but nothing major.
• Coolant light and check engine light is on.
• May require other fixes not mentioned here.

Fair condition inside and out, representativeof a car of this age. Surface scratches, small chips, dents on exterior. NO exterior paint peels or rust. Interior has small worn patch in driver side carpet. Some interior scratches, regular wear-and-tear fading on steering wheel and driver's side door panels. Rear-sear door panels are in excellent condition, as they have seldom been used. As car has been regularly hand washed and waxed, and garaged for most of its life, the exterior paint is actually quite good for its age. The interior has also been regularly conditioned, so cabin materials are in good condition for car's age. This is the perfect car for a restorer, parts and repair shop, or a VW enthusiast looking to breathe new life into this sporty and classy Jetta sedan!
