Up for Auction with no reserve is this 2006 Vw Jetta TDI 5-speed that we just acquired from the second owner who drove the car from 09 till about 3 weeks ago.
The exterior is in fair shape it shows its wear / dings and blemishes but overall its a good driver. Please take a look at the pictures as we have taken close pictures for you to view.
The interior is in good condition the seats are comfortable with no major rips or tears This jetta was used mostly to commute daily, The sun visor of the driver side has a broken tab and its out and the headliner is sagging.
1.9L TURBO DIESEL THAT JUST HIT 200K the car runs extremely good and the previous owner stated she did service it regularly and mostly at vw, the car has great power and turbo spools up nicely with no smoke. The car does not have any check engine lights on i have drove this car for a good 400+ miles. I have owned many tdi's in the past and i feel as there is a very light boost leak i say that because when accelerating i hear a little air noise as if it was seeping out through a hose or a rubber clamp. Overall this car runs and drives like a champ.
5-speed manual transmissionshifts great and the clutch grabs great.
Power windows and locks work but the control for the driver's side sometimes works and sometimes does not after closely inspecting it i saw that there are about 3 broken wires on the door harness from opening and closing.
a/c and heat operate great.
New alternator and serpentinebelt.
tires are in good condition.
original books and manuals.
clean nj title.
i would personallyfeel comfortable driving this car on a long distance trip.

I always get the question " will the car make it such and such miles" " do u think its gonna break down anytime soon" and my answer always is...Its a used vehicle and anything can happen but if you ask me would i personally feel comfortable getting in the car and driving it on a long trip....my answeron this vehicle would be YES i would feel comfortable driving it on a long distance trip.
This vehicle is not currently registered or insured but can be test driven with our transport plate, if you purchase the vehicle you will have to register it before coming down and picking it up so you can drive it home with your plate, other options are you can come in with a trailer and tow it home or you can purchase a out of state temporary tag it is $149 but you must bring evidenceof insurance on this vehicle.
