2001 Volkswagen Golf GL Hatchback 2-Door Description

2001 VW Golf GL TDi 2dr Automatic Runs great, starts easy, always well maintained, Garage Kept (up until about 6 months ago), NO Rust, Oil changed every 5K with Rotella T3 and German Mann Oil Filters, driven daily, 246k, 35 to 40mpg, all original paint some dings and scratches, small door dent on edge....... again the engine runs like a top, very quick for 90HP!, will blow the doors off a 5sp model!, Intake removed and carbon cleaned out at the dealer last year...... Inspected a few months ago, New Tires, New Timing Belt, New Glow Plugs and Glow plug harness wires, plus new MAF....... A good 2Dr is hard to fine, Upgraded Drilled and Slotted Brake Rotors with Ceramic Pads, 15 inch Alloy Jetta Wheels......My wife and I are the second owners, we have had this car about 10 years, bought it with about 150K on it, which were all highway, since then we've put about 10K/yr.....we just bought a 4dr 02 Gold TDi Automaticand we have a 03 Jetta Tdi Wagon Automatic..... We love these older ALH TDi's!!They run forever, and are easy to work on .....You can buy all your parts right here on eBay!!... Only have one key, and the keyfob stopped working, the windshield fluid leaks, Transmission is 100%! I've had the fluid changed a couple of times at the dealer... this is a Solid Automatic, never had an issue, shifts better then both of my other automatic!........ pickup and drive anywhere........... just got my new insurance bill and something has to go!.......... I've just put over a $1000 in the car to make it, 100% formy wife and I,or You!......... most use cars you buy, need tires, brakes, a tune up or something........ perfect fuel squeezer for a go to work car......... I've tracked my Wagon on Fuelly dot com for the last 28K and my average cost is 6 cents/mile!
