2010 Volkswagen Jetta Description
Hello.I have decided to offer up my JSW. The dealer will give me the price you see, but this car is way to nice to get crushed. I could remove all the goodies that I installed and sell them separatelyon e-bay but that is a lot of work for little gain. Besides, I would like to see it go to a home that appreciatesall my effort and would enjoy it as much as I have. You can see from the pics that it is in near perfect condition. The interior is clean as a whistlewith NO rips or any type of damage. Non-smoker and pet free. I have really taken good care of this car. All oil and maintenanceare done regularly.Normal wear for seven years old. There is a small ding just forward of the gas filler door.
Here is a list of all the extras I have installed.
- APR Stage I tune- 173hp/287tq
- GTI front bumper with fog lights and custom bodywork to match fender flare
- Custom Plasti-Dip color with all chrome dipped black and door jams dipped too
- H&R Sport Springs (about 2" lower)
- HID Headlights(GTI style)
- Blanked out front grill with body work on the hood (no VW)
- All interior lights are red LED(very cool)
- Euro Switch
- VCDS custom programming including- auto up windows, key fob window control, interior lighting dim control(footwell lights), DRLs
- Tinted windows
Most of the products were purchased at ECS tuning and the APR ECU stage one was done at Blue Water Performance. The total cost of the parts was about $4500 plus the tune($500).
Most of the pics have the BBS rims shown. These DO NOT come with the car.
If you decideto turn in the car they will give you half of the $5100 on top of the KBB value. If you decide to have the approved repair done you would also receive half of the $5100.00Because I was the owner at the time of the settlement I would receive the other half. This is a great car just the way it is. Has gobs of low-end torque and I regularlyget 42MPG(calculatedmethod) with mix highway and town driving.I mostly use this car to go between Vail and Grand Junction about 130 miles once a week.
Buy this car, drive it for a while and when you get the repair done receive a check for $2550.00 That makes the effective price $13,337.00 There is no way you could do this much work and have this nice of a car for that price. With only 85xxx miles on it, this thing will go forever. My buddy's TDI JSW has 300k and still runs strong.
UPDATE: After talking to VW it appears that the new owner would receive 100% of the restitution. I went back through the tables and applied the adjustments. The buyback amount is $15225 and the restitution is $5100. With all the options I feel the buy it now price is fair. You would be getting this car at $10,787.00. The NADA value for resale is $10,000.
UPDATE II: Somebody hit buy it now and confirmed to buy it then said they did it by accident.
