Beautiful '73 Sunshine Thing

1973 Volkswagen Thing Description

This beautifully restored '73 Think was purchased about 4 years ago. Since then, I've driven it maybe 200 miles. It makes me sad to see it sitting idle. I hope it can find the home of a Volkswagen enthusiast who will appreciate it. It is definitely ready to have fun in.
There is nothing that needs to be done to drive this home and enjoy. You may notice that a couple of the hubcaps have gathered rust, but the rest of the vehicle is amazing. Upon request, I have many more pics available. As well as a video of me starting it from a cold start and letting it idle a bit.
The top is perfect as well as the side curtains. While I was assured by the previous owner that the heater works, I've never tried it. You'll notice I've added the after market trailer receiver from the Thing Shop. This was only used for transporting a single bike on the bike rack shown in the pictures. I also added the cup/cell phone holder from the Thing Shop. I still have the ash tray if you wish to remove. It simply slides in.
