1964 Volvo P1800 1800 1800S P1800S Description

This is a great year and color combination for a P1800. Needs a full restoration. Car needs a lot of body work but it's worth it in my opinion. All the sheet metal is available to do the repairs. Has not been driven for about 10-12 years. Has a good Michigan title that has been signed by previous owner. The engine will turn over and run on starter fluid. Will not run without the starter fluid. Probably needs carbs rebuilt. My plan was to have my mechanic get it running and driving but I have too many other Volvos that I'd like to get running first. I don't think it would take much though to get it back on the road again. The brakes need to be bled. Tires are only good for transport. Has new fuel pump. Gas tank was pulled and cleaned out. Bumpers and grille are from a 65 1800S. Previous owner had plans to do a rat rod. He sprayed the car with what looks like a semi-flat black paint. Looks kind of cool from a distance. Needs a lot of work but if it's done right you'll have a car that's climbing in value every day. I also have a 68 listed that is a nice little runner if your looking for a easier car.
