1990 Volvo 240 DL Sedan 4-Door Description

We have owned this Volvo for several years and it's been used in town and as a 'first car' for our kids. The mechanicals on this car are very strong. It does not use or leak oil or other fluids. The features all work except the A/C is very weak which is normal for these cars. This car has been well cared for and we just don't need it any more.
I didn't really want to sell it because good cars like this are hard to come by but I really can't justify keeping it around because it just doesn't get driven. When I first bought the car I put wheels from a '94 Volvo 740, roll and sway bars from IPD (check out IPD USA on the web) and springs from IPD also. This makes the car ride rougher but it handles a TON better especially in the corners and at freeway speeds.
I also added the performance exhaust from IPD so it has a really nice note to the exhaust.
My wife tells me all this was unnecessary and she's probably right but it makes the car much more enjoyableand safer to drive. You will notice in the picture how the car sits a little lower than normal but not too much to look dumb. This really adds to the stance of the car and definitely makes it drive better.
The bottom line is this is a great mechanical car that is older but still has a lot of service left. These cars are easy and inexpensive to repair whether you do it yourself or take it to the local shop. I'll be glad to answer any questions you might have.
