For sale is a 1972 Volvo 164 for restoration or parts.This was Volvo's first venture into the luxury car market.
The car is as close to 100% original as I can tell.We should have the parts and badges that are missing from the pics.The car has been in my wifes family since it was bought new from a PA Volvo dealer.The B30 engine and transmission are strong. It fires up every time even after sitting for months.It was garage kept except for a period of about 10 years. That is when the rust started.The car hit a few years back on the left front quarter panel. There is a dent that a local resotoration shop said could be fixed. I beleive I have collected all of the replacement lights and trim.All rust spots are in the typical places for old cars. Rocker panels and wheel wells and I have seen replacement metal available for these places. The rust on the A Pillars is the challenge.If you have questions please ask them.The car is being sold as is.There are extra parts some new some old.This will be sold as complete please do not email asking for specific parts.There is no reserve for this auciton.
