2004 Volvo S60 R Description

For sale is a 2004 Volvo S60R M66 in Titanium Grey exterior and the sought after Atacama (Orange Leather) interior. This car has a straight body and looks good but is NOT in running condition. Best used as parts, track car build or fixer upper!

Whew, I hope that was clear enough. If not, here it is again. There will be no wheels included in this sale! I will remove the wheels and have the car up on jack stands before you come to pick it up. When you get here you can put your own wheels on and haul it off. MAKE SURE YOU KNOW YOUR WHEELS ARE COMPATIBLE! You cannot just put any Volvo wheel on these cars. The brake calipers are much larger than on standard S60's and will not clear a regular S60 spokes.
Here is the information that I know about the car:
I have never driven this car, I recently purchased it and it has been sitting for a couple years.. It has approx. 203K miles on it. I was told by the previous owner, who is not a car guy and knows NOTHING about these cars (even though he had it for 9 years and put over 160K miles on it), that the oil and antifreeze was mixing and that the engine is toast. He claims to have had 2 mechanics tell him the same thing. When I pulled the dip stick and checked the antifreeze reservoir.. there were no signs of mixing oil & antifreeze whatsoever. The antifreeze was clear and the oil was black.. I dont know if he got his story mixed up or what. The battery was 100% dead and I have not had time to swap batteries and turn over the engine, so at this point I do not know if the engine will start or not. I plan to check it very soon, (However I will be checking to see if there is still a timing belt on the car before I crank it over just in case the timing belt has snapped). More info to come on the condition of the engine. Message me if you have specific questions. I know nothing about the condition of the transmission, angle gear, struts etc. as I have never driven the car.
UPDATE: Tonight I put a spare battery in the car and the engine started right up and runs ok. There is no sign of antifreeze mixing with coolant! The engine ran a little rough, but not terribly bad. The car blows out a lot of smoke from the tail pipe however, so that car does not run flawlessly, but it does run! I will post some videos of the car running on my photobucket account tonight so you can watch the video and listen to the car idling. The battery will not be included with the sale of this car. Once again, there is no battery included!END OF UPDATE.
I recently discovered that the clutch petal is stuck on the floor. It pops up if you pull it up by hand, but will not pop back up by itself. I assume this means the clutch is bad.. or the slave cylinder, or something else. I dont really know. The body is really straight for the age and mileage!! The interior is also good for the age and mileage, although both the driver and passenger seats do have a popped seam.. which seems common on these. The leather obviously shows some wear, although there are no tears or holes in the leather anywhere that I have seen so far. The back seats seem quite nice, other than being dirty. Car has really dark tinted windows, (except one that seems to be a bit lighter than the rest). The headlights are good except the passenger side headlight lens has some chips and cracks. The driver side headlamp bulb is burnt out but the fog lights both work. Passenger side view mirror is glazed over. Also missing the side marker lens by the front Dr. side fender. Front bumper lip is droopy which is pretty typical with these cars, and there are a couple of door dings on the driver side of the car.
