For sale is this rare and outstanding example of a 1989 Volvo 780 Bertone Sports Coupe.

RARE, because very few were ever built world-wide and even fewer were actually imported into the United States.

In 1989 according to Volvo records only 2,166 examples of this car were sent to the USA.

The VOLVO 780 is a special version of the VOLVO 760 model, built by Bertone in Torino, Italy (not in Sweden).

CARFAX report does not list any accidents. I am not sure why Autocheck lists a Minor accident. The pictures show how verystraightand clean this car is. Carfax can be emailed upon request.Nothingto hide here. This car is a true gem.

Volvo 780 Bertone

The Volvo 780 was the most luxurious model offered during its production years.

It was designed by Bertone, the renowned coach designer behind many of the luxury Italian cars.

Given the Bertone design and luxury, the light 2 door chassis, it's really a VOLVO sports car.

The interior of the car is quite impressive with the premium sound system, wood trims, leather seats.

This car had an MSRP of $44,000 in 1989.
