2006 Volvo V70 2.4L Description

Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is an extraordinarily clean 2006 Volvo V70. I would rate the exterior of this estate to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for it's age and mileage. As you can see, this is a gorgeous wagon. It is finished in Willow Green Metallic over Taupe leather interior, which is a great color combination. The light green finish has a mile deep shine and looks as smooth as glass. As with any older vehicle, please expect a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. However, you'd be hard pressed to find anything worth complaining about on the exterior of this V70. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and tail gate all open and close easily. All of the trim and moldings are present and show well. The factory alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in a nice set of rubber with good tread all around. All of the glass and lenses are intact. Pride in ownership shows throughout this V70. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully to see how extraordinarily clean this wagon looks. I would rate the interior of this V70 to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for it's age and mileage. The nicely appointed interior in this V70 could easily pass for well under half of the mileage on this car. The door cards are clean and tight. The dash and headliner are clean, too. The carpets show well throughout the interior. Both front seats are heated. The seats are clean, comfortable, supple and show virtually no wear. Again, pride in ownership shows throughout every inch of this Volvo. The wood interior accents go very well with the light green and tan color scheme. The power windows, locks, mirrors, sunroof and seat all work properly. The audio system is original and sounds great. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. There are independent temperature controls for the driver and passenger. It's too cold to be able to verify that the air conditioner is working properly, but I can tell you that the heater works very well. The cargo area is spacious and clean. Mechanically, this Volvo appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 2.4L turbocharged engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are good. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. Steering and braking feel good, too. The engine keeps perfect temperature and feels strong. There have been no idiot lights on during my road test. This V70 is an absolute pleasure to drive. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly with zero issues. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with no complaints. I know this car has a few miles on it so it won't be for everyone. What I can tell you is what I know about European cars from years and years of buying and selling them. Some will tell you that miles don't matter...which is untrue. Miles do matter, but you have to consider the kind of miles and the life a car has had. A car, and this holds true across the spectrum of European cars with tighter tolerances and such, that has been properly maintained and respected will give a long life of service. A car that has been neglected will be nothing but trouble. I recently sold an Audi A4 with 319k miles on it. The car was immaculate and it drove better than some A4's I've had with barely over 100k on them. The difference is the life the car has had. While neither you or I have the ability to see into the past and know everything for certain, some cars speak for themselves. This is one of those cars. I'm not saying that you'll never have to fix anything ever...because you will, it's a car. What I'm saying is that I'd rather have a 200k car that has been cared for than a 100k car that has been neglected. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.
