1992 Volvo 240 Description

Volvo 240. Comes with a ton of new parts installed recently. The engine runs great and this car was a daily driver until being replaced by a S70 a few weeks ago, but there are things that need attention. Can be driven or could also be used as a donor/parts car for another 240. Great for converting a automatic transmission car to a 5 speed. Has a nice black cloth interior which is much more classy than the typical blue or tan. Seats are in excellent condition without rips or tears. With a light cleaning they would look pretty much new. $995 for the car with the steel wheels on it. For an additional $200 I will include a set of 940 / 740 Turbo hydra wheels that were on this car.
Parts/features:
-4 new calipers/pads/rotors.
-new parking brake shoes
-new Walker/Starla mufflers and exhaust pipes from behind the cat back.(see below about exhaust issue)
-Tachometer (replaced clock)
-Black cloth interior that is great condition. No tears in seats, and the car has never been smoked in or used to haul kids or pets. Foam in seats is solid. Door panels are all clean. Front door pockets are missing/broken
-blacked out body trim and grille which was a 1992 only feature
-new Bosch cap and rotor
-new Bogiscord plug wires
-new left rear tail light
-new clutch cable
-power windows
-heated seats
-clean title
-inspected until May
-trunk full of 240 parts included if you want them(lenses, grill, plus much more), leave whatever you dont want and I will get rid of.
negatives:
-fenders have rust, one door bottom has rust through, the other door bottoms are intact, but a little rust starting.
-bad trailing arm bushings
-some driveline play, I think due to the bushings, and quite possibly trans or motor mounts(which I have not checked)
-there is a slat of wood paneling tied next to a rear spring. It was there when I bought the car, so I left it, but not sure what purpose it serves
-rusty underneath the car, but floors are not too bad
-typical clear coat peeling in places
-clutch is releasing high, but doesn't slip
-no reverse lights
-broken glove box latch
-dash has some typical cracking
-Exhaust broke at the cat, I had it welded, and then it started leaking in a different spot again. The pipes are still together though.
-tires on it are at the end of life
