2002 Volvo S60 Description

Up for sale is this great 2002 Volvo S60 2.4T!We purchased the car brand new when it had only 8 miles and the car has been properly maintained.Car looks pretty good and body paint is in really good condition.The same rims were on car when we purchased the vehicle.Car has never been in a wreck.Owner’s manuals and 2-sets of Volvo keys included.

Known issues:

Paint on roof rail strips has flaked over the years (see photo).Very common with S60 Volvos.These strips can be purchased new for as low as $30 on Ebay.Or the existing strips can be repainted as another option.They simply slide out from one end.
Engine runs good, but might need tune-up (starts great by simply turning key without pressing gas pedal).

Bottom right plastic trimming is loose (see photo).Maybe just needs a metal clip?

Very minor small dent on lower left-passenger door and tiny dot on rear bumper. (see photos)

Transmission may need a flush.

Recent Fixes:

Installed brand new battery

Instrument Cluster (a common problem with Volvos) has been professionally repaired and updated by “BBA Remanufacturing” in Taunton, MA.
Replaced fuel tank (which had a leak)

The remainder of the balance is due at vehicle pickup and within 7 days of the Auction end.

At pickup buyer will need to:(1) Provide a copy of Driver’s License and Insurance card, (2) Sign a standard "Vehicle Sale Contract" provided by seller, and (3) sign a CA. DMV Bill of Sale (reg15) also provided by seller.

Final balance is cash only.I cannot accept Cashier’s Checks, Credit Cards and Personal checks.

Buyer is responsible for vehicle pickup… including transportation, shipping and handling of the vehicle (vehicle is located in West Hills, CA. 91307).

Prospective bidders are always welcome to come, view, or arrange on-site inspections of the vehicle they are interested in BEFORE the close of the auction. Once the auction has ended the vehicle is now considered sold.There are no post sales inspections at that point.

Vehicle has passed all California safety and emission tests.However we are NOT responsible for the vehicle safety or emission requirements of another state or country (outside of California).

Once the vehicle is paid for in full the buyer's insurance takes over.We do not insure the vehicle after payment is made in full.This is especially important if your vehicle is being transported via car carrier.

We do not arrange transportation, shipping & handling. Vehicle shipping is the responsibility of the buyer of the vehicle.You are welcome to use any transporter you choose to come pick up the vehicle from our house.

We further reserve the right to refuse the sale of any vehicle to any bidder or buyer at our discretion should we deem it necessary for any reason.

We reserve the right to cancel bids for excessive negative feedback.
