For sale is my 2002 Volvo S40 turbo. Enthusiasts will understand there is some serious value behind this beauty. Boasts an odd Swedish 5-cylinder 20-valve engine with turbo to accompany it. I don't want to sell my love but my interests have been directed another way. Included is original manual. I regularly maintain this vehicle at Ace Auto Care, THE place to go for Volvos in Northeast Dallas; anyone can attest to this. Have all work receipts on vehicle under my ownership. Interior and exterior both in amazing condition for its age, you will be surprised. This is a great family car that packs a most sweet punch under the hood. Power-everything with cold A/C and plenty of room for anything your mind could possibly imagine.
The Good, The Bad, and The Evil
The Good
Car is in excellent shape and runs like a charm
Turbo :)
Tires still have good tread
Recent oil change
Blanck paint is in fantastic condition, no sun damage
Sound from exhaust is just perfect, idles like a boat, but isn't loud unless you make it ;)
Driver seat is power-operated
The Bad
Driver seat is still in overall very good condition but it could use a re-upholstery from minimal cracking
Shift knob cover is a bit cracked as well
Steering wheel also somewhat cracked (most of these problems are just from the interior showing its age)
Very small amount of clear coat peeling on driver door corner
The Ugly
Me crying if I have to watch and listen to this beauty drive away
My price is very firm at $4,500, R's in this body style and in this color are pretty rare. In no rush to sell this car. Not necessarily interested in trades but it won't hurt to show me what you got. I want this gem to go to the right home, I have babied this Volvo. Trying to be as honest as I can in this post but I really believe this is one of the best-condition S40s that will be on the market for a while. Buyer will not be disappointed, I guarantee this about the car. If I think of anything else, I will make edits on the post.
