NO RESERVE...NEW VOLVO TRADE...READ DESCRIPTION
2004 Volvo V70 -- Description
Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 2004 Volvo V70 T5. I would rate the exterior of this V70 to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for it's age and mileage. As you can see, this is a good looking estate. It is finished in Silver Metallic over Black leather interior. The finish has a mile deep shine and looks as smooth as glass. As with any older vehicle, please expect a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. On this V70, the worst I can say is that there is a dent/rub mark on the one door. Other than that, just a few normal marks on the bumpers and such from age. All of the cladding and trim are present and show well. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and tail gate all open and close easily. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory alloy wheels show well for their age and are wrapped in nice rubber with average tread all around. Please take the time to check out each of the 70+ photos carefully. I would rate the interior of this V70 to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for it's age and mileage. The door cards are clean and tight. The carpets show well for their age and are full looking throughout the interior. The leather seats are clean, comfortable and show minimal wear. The dash and headliner are clean, too. The power windows, locks, mirrors, seat and sunroof all work properly. Both front seats are heated. The audio system is original and sounds good. The climate control system is fully automatic and offers independent settings for the driver and passenger. Everything seems to be working properly. It's a bit too cold to tell whether or not the air conditioner is working effectively but I can tell you that the heater works properly. The cargo area is spacious and clean. Mechanically, this Volvo appears to be in good running and driving condition. The turbocharged engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I haven't noticed any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are decent for an older vehicle. You can hear and feel a few rattles in the front bushings, which is normal for a Volvo of this age. Steering and braking feel good. You can feel a vibration in the steering wheel at speed, which I believe is simply a symptom of the aforementioned worn bushings. The engine keeps perfect temperature and feels strong. There have been no idiot lights on during my road test. The transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly with no issues. Out on the highway she drives nice and straight. Keep in mind, you will have a vibration in the front end that should be addressed in the very near future...but you should be able to drive it home. Just take it easy and don't try to set any land speed records on your way home. This higher mileage V70 is a fresh NEW VOLVO TRADE and runs very well. Just take car of a few "older car" maintenance items and you'll have a solid runner. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.
