1991 Volvo 240 Station wagon.
Nice looking wagon,
Runs and drives very well.
No rust ever, always a southern car.
Dark blue paint and body are in nice shape, shines well, paint is thin in some areas on the roof and hood.
Air conditioning blows cold.
Interior is in nice shape.
Kenwood stereo.
Power windows.
201k original miles on a working odometer.
Starts, runs, drives and shifts as it should.
A few known issues:
Carpet is faded and worn.
Rear hatch window wiper doesn’t work.
Passenger front door power lock needs an actuator, works fine manually though.
Some scratches and couple of small dings here and there.
Coating on two of the rims is peeling, that started after I used a strong wheel cleaner on them.
Please look closely at the pictures, the car is nice, but not new.
If you have any questions or would like to inspect the wagon prior to bidding, just shoot me an email.
Thanks!
On Apr-08-16 at 13:14:21 PDT, seller added the following information:
A number of folks have asked questions about the following items, figured I’d just add the information here.
Heater: Works fine.
Heated Seats: Just the passenger one works, the switchfor the driver’s seat doesn’t light up and the seat doesn't get warm.
Center Console: Yes, it has one.
Rear window defrost: Don’t know if it works, the light comes on when the switch is pressed, but being Florida, seldom is there an opportunity to test this.
Windshield washer fluid squirt thing: I filled it up last night, it didn’t squirt.
Fluid leaks and such: I’ve not noticed any drips on the garage floor or driveway where the wagon is usually parked, but considering that she’s 25 years old, I wouldn’t be surprised if oil is seeping from somewhere.
Clock: I’m fairly certain the clock works, but forget it’s there as the time is also on the radio.
Warning lights: None warning are on.
Blinkers/Turn signals: Yes they work fine.
Timing belt change: There is a sticker under the hood, it's hard to read, but I think says 4/09 at 160k.
3rd row seat:No, it does not have one. But I have one in the garage that the winning bidder can have if they want it.
Would I drive the wagon to Utah? If I had any desire to go to Utah, which I don't, I'd beokay with taking the wagon, but remember,Volvo or not, she is a 25 year old car.
Okay, I think I covered anything.
