Selling my beautiful AUDI TT Roadster.
I have owned it for about 8 years now and it’s time to start a new project.
Mileage is high because I worked a distance from home when this was my only car, it was purely highway. All it has done in the past 4 years is take me to the gym in the afternoons and the occasional trip to the beach.
Not very much expense was spared when upgrading and maintaining this garage queen car. Anything that remotely showed signs of wear was replaced with the best money can buy. Upgraded by an avid car enthusiast and practicing mechanical engineer. There is not even a check engine or warning light active on the dash cluster. It has been meticulously, really obsessively maintained in every aspect. There is not a single drop of oil on the belly pan. Zero leaks of any kind. Good compression and does not burn any oil.
The list is longer than this, but here are the highlights in performance and maintenance.
Engine—
· --Bigger turbo fitted. Large K04 form factor by Blaast Performance. (47mm Impeller, 2.0” OD inlet and outlet)
· --Fuel system components to support it. 500cc Delphi injectors, 250lph Fuel Pump
· --Unitronic STAGE II program in ECU
· --Forge Blow-off Valve.
· --Forge Unos Ball/Spring Boost Controller. Car is running at 19PSI to the manifold.
· --Boost gauge custom fitted to steering column.
· --Wagner Tuning Front Mount Intercooler
· --Forge Silicone Turbo Inlet Pipe
· --3” Downpipe with HighFlow Catalytic Converter by 42Draft Designs
· --Urethane bushing motor mounts. (Improves Traction)
Drivetrain—
· --Clutch replaced for lighter single mass performance unit at 150,000 mi
· --Driveshafts/CV Joints replaced with new ones at 185,000 mi due to them breaking while boosting 23PSI!
· --Trans Oil changed at 150,000mi along with the clutch install.
Suspension / Wheels / Brakes —
· --H&R Lowering Coil Springs fitted for a 2.0” drop in stance
· --Replaced aged rubber bushings in control arms with urethane performance units.
· --Avantgarde M14 18” wheels. One piece machined design.
· --Brembo Cross-drilled front brake rotors. Brembo Rear Rotors
· --ABS brake system bled and refilled with new DOT4 Brake Fluid one month ago.
Audio / Electronics---
· --Door speakers replaced with new factory units
· --Stereo head unit replaced with Clarion CZ702 Bluetooth Enabled Unit. Allows for answering phone calls on speakers, Pandora Compatible, USB input, Matches interior flawless.
--Impossible to find a TT with a working LED diagnostic/info screen in the middle of the cluster. The one on this car also broke but I had it replaced at great cost and works 100%.On Jun-29-16 at 16:29:05 PDT, seller added the following information:Exterior --
·Body was sanded down to bare metal in some places and re-painted all over with factory matched Amulet Red paint. Done by a reputable shop in 2013.
·Small tear on the convertible top on passenger side corner. Good upholstery shop could fix it easy.
·Original rear glass window was replaced with plastic film made for convertible tops. TTs have an epidemic problem of the rear glass window coming unglued, start leaking, then falling out. You won’t have to deal with that problem with this car. It has literally all been solved/fixed for you.
