2001 Audi A4 Avant 1.8T Description

Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction.

Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 2001 Audi A4 Avant Quattro. I would rate the exterior of this Audi to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, this is a good looking wagon. It is finished in classic silver over black. The silver finish has a mile deep shine and looks as smooth as glass. As with any older vehicle, please expect a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. On this specific B5, the worst I can say is that there isa small scrape mark on the LR door and some minor damage on the RF fender. Otherwise, you'd be hard pressed to find anything worth complaining about. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and tail gate all open and close easily. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory alloy wheels are painted black and are wrapped in a matching set of Hankook's with average tread all around. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully.

I would rate the interior of this A4 to be in EXCELLENT CONDITION for its age and mileage. The door cards are clean and tight. The carpets are clean and full looking throughout the interior. The dash and headliner are clean. The seats show virtually no wear, front or back. The power windows, locks, mirrors and sunroof all work properly. The original audio system has been upgraded with an aftermarket CD player which sounds good. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. The heater works properly and the air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR, too. A set of owners books are included. Again, pride in ownership shows throughout this A4. Please take your time to check out each of the photos carefully to see how clean this A4 Avant looks inside and out.

Mechanically, this A4 Avant appears to be in good running and driving condition. The turbocharged 1.8L engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are good for an older car. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. The suspension has been lowered, which gives the car an aggressive stance and improves handling. Steering and braking feel good, too. The engine keeps perfect temperature and feels strong. Performance has been upgraded with a cold air intake. There have been no idiot lights on during my road test. The clutch engages smoothly and does not slip or chatter. Gear changes through the manual transmission are smooth and precise, as they should be. Out on the highway, this A4 drives nice and straight with absolutely no complaints. She has a current PA safety and emissions inspection good through the end of February, 2017.
