Hello and thank you for viewing my auction listing! This is a very clean 1998 BMW M3 convertible. This M3 was traded in at a local dealership and I purchased it within the last week. This is a 1998 BMW M3 convertible with a low 98,408 miles. This M3 is finished in a beautiful Fern green with saddle leather interior. The exterior is very clean. Nothing more than a couple light dings and slight marks where previous owner had custom fog lights on the front bumper. Nothing serious. The factory alloy wheels have light rashing but also nothing serious. The tires are new Cooper high performance tires and are in great shape. The brakes are newer cross drilled and slotted rotors with newer pads and brakes feel great! The entire convertible top was recently replaced and there are no leaks. The convertible top was converted to manual operation by the previous owner but was done well and is easy top both put down or up. There is a custom screw on hold down system on both sides of the tonneau which is no longer power operated. It looks fine and there may be ways to modify this to new owners preferance. That will be up to the vehicle's new owner. But overall the top does it's job fine and you simply have to put it up and down manually but it really takes maybe less time doing it manually. Also the previous owner close to gutted the trunk probably to reduce weight. The battery cover is still there along with CD changer.So overall the exterior is very clean and I would categorize this M3 as a very clean driver!

The interior is also quite clean. The seats are leather and fronts are heated and work fine. The power movement of the seats also operates fine too. The front seats have some slight wear but I've seen way worse! Look at pics! The radio is the factory cassette player with a 6 CD changer in the trunk. The gauges all operate fine and AC blows very cold! Overall the interior is quite clean with nothing more than normal wear and tare.

Finally the mechanics of this Ultimate driving machine! Hands down this car was extremely well taken care of. It had other then the new brakes and tires it's 100K service and tune up. It was done at a very well respected local foreign only repair facility. This M3 needs nothing at all mechanically! I've been driving this car daily since I bought it! I love it! I would say that these E36 vehicles were built better and feel more solid then the E46's and up! The engine is so smooth and transmission shifts wonderfully too. This M3 does have a few small modifications. The engine is 100% stock! There is a K & N cold air intake system installed as well as a full exhaust system. The exhaust sounds incredible! There are also front and rear strut bars too. There also seems to be a lot of new suspension parts too but I don't want to give a wrong brand name.
