2000 BMW 7-Series IL Description

Up for auction is my Black on Black, stunning, 2000 BMW 740il with 61,441 original miles. I purchased the car from the original owner and proceeded to research all things e38. The car was in great shape when I purchased it but it's in way better condition now!
I thoroughly went through the car and replaced all items that could be affected by age. Below is a list of all the items put on the car. I replaced all these parts so I could drive it, worry free, for the next 5 to 10 years. With that said, I lost my garage due to a move and no longer have an overnight home for my incredibly sweet ride and cannot see keeping this nearly perfect vehicle out in the elements with winter coming. It's way too nice for that.
Here is the list of all the items that were replaced on the car. In addition to the parts replaced, I even had the Valve Covers sent out to be "Powder Coated" blue to match the BMW Logo color. (take a look at the photo's). I know there are very, very few BMW e38's with this low mileage and even fewer, if any, that have had this extensive service recently done. I have receipts for all parts listed and obviously they go with the car.

M Parallel 18 Sport Wheels - 8” wide in front with 235/50 ZR18 tires put on at 48,402 miles and 9.5” wide with 255/50/ZR18 tires. Also included is 5th 18" M Parallel wheel with a new Michelin mounted on it.

“Comfort Seats” with additional adjustments for lumbar support, which can be moved both horizontally and vertically. The back of the seat can also be adjusted for rake in the upper half in respect to the lower half by 27 degrees. Huge Benefit if you are a taller person.

Electro-Chromatic Mirrors. The interior rear-view mirror contains two light sensors, the forward-facing sensor measures ambient light-levels and the rear-facing sensor measures light levels from behind. When the rear-facing sensor measures higher light-levels than ambient (when a car behind has not dimmed their lights) the mirror reduces its reflectance.

Universal Garage Door Opener

I have 100% Positive Feedback and always try to describe anything I sell as accurately as possible. This is my personal car that I purchased on December 5th, 2014 and it is my daily driver so mileage may go up a little. As I mentioned, I hate to see her go but have no garage to keep her in so I cannot justify keeping the car.

I will help you make arrangements to transport the car wherever it needs to go. I will even deliver (drive) the car within a 600 mile radius if you pay for my flight home.

Please keep in mind, this is a 16 year old car and it does has a few things that aren't perfect. The premium radio with DSP works great and the CD changer works great but the tape deck will not play tapes. The tape just ejects and will not play. A couple of the pixels on the display are out (very common on these) and new pixel strips are available for about $15.00. The car looks great, feels great and drives like a new car. 2 of the wheels have very minor curb rash (see pictures) and there is a very small rust spot on the rear passenger side quarter panel, just above where the rear bumper meets the quarter panel (please see close up photo). The rear armrest cupholder does not slide out properly. If I think of anything else, I will update the listing. Thanks and happy bidding!
