·Added factory telephone Bluetooth “TCU” module (was not an option on 2004, but was standard on 2005 – was a simple swap of the plug-in BMW assist computer in the trunk) – enables wireless cell phone calls

·Four dedicated snow tires (225/50R-17 Bridgestone Blizzak WS70 SL) mounted on separate wheels (17x7.5 Silver Painted Sport Edition A7)(all four tires at 8/32) – car drives great in the snow! (Snow tires and wheels are included in the sale at the asking price – but if you don’t want them I can easily sell them separately)

·Added wired iPhone/iPod music input which utilizes factory steering wheel controls

·Upgraded Navigation DVD to v32/2007-2 (I think this is the most up to date one available)

·Changed center storage bin (behind handbrake) from cup holder to euro roller cover (better to hold sunglasses in an open convertible, and I don’t let anyone eat or drink in the car).(I still have the cup holders if you want them – simply clicks in and out to swap – 5 seconds)

Car’s Story:The car has not had any accidents or any major issues at all.It is a well-cared-for 12 year old car with lots and lots of life left in her.Non-smoker car.I don’t even let anyone eat or drink in the car!All regular maintenance and preventative maintenance has been done by professionals (not me).The car has always been adult owned and driven. It has not been raced or tracked. There are no non-factory performance modifications.I don’t even think it has ever been taken up to the redline (you are welcome to check the car computer – I assume that stuff is stored there).

I am the second owner. The first owner, as far as I know, had a lease from 2004 through 2008.He put about 48,000 miles on the car.I have owned it ever since, and it now has about 86,500 miles.

Service History:Since I have owned it, the car has had regular oil filter changes with Castrol 10x60 TWS oil (the synthetic BMW recommended brand and type) every 7,500 miles (twice as often as what the maintenance computer tells you). There were major services completed (Inspection I) at 60,000 miles and (Inspection II) at 75,000 miles. At current usage rate, it will be due for another oil/filter late summer/early fall 2016.

The alternator was replaced at 70,000 miles (Jan 2013).The battery was replaced at 75,000 miles (Nov 2013).All four O2 sensors were replaced at 80,000 miles (Dec 2014) (only one went bad, but most of the job is labor, so I figured it was worth just replacing all four at the same time). The rear springs were replaced at 85,000 miles (Nov 2015).Other than that, it has just been small stuff (brake pads, wiper blades, etc). As far as I know, the clutch is original and still operates like new – I am the primary driver and this is the fifth or sixth manual transmission I have owned.I’m happy to share the maintenance records with you.I have everything (including receipts) from the day I brought her home.

The rear tires are brand new this spring (measure 10/32) and the front tires are a couple of years old (measure 5/32 and 6/32).All four tires are Michelin Pilot Super Sport.

The top works perfectly and is watertight.

Garage kept. Non-Smoker.

What’s Wrong With It:This is a 12 year old car.The exterior paint looks great, but could probably use a good hand polish/detail to really make it pop.Under certain light I can see some faint swirl marks. There are some small stone chips – especially on the front of the hood and the lower front bumper. There are three very small quarter size dents (dent is too strong a word – didn’t cause a paint crack or scratch) on the passenger rear quarter panel (thanks to someone exiting my wife’s rear seat in the garage. . . )I doubt you will find a 12 year old car that hasn’t been recently repainted that looks better. The interior is in great shape. There are no tears in the leather and it remains soft and plush. There is some wear on the driver’s side bolster. The steering wheel shows a tiny bit of wear at the top – same with the shifter. The nav screen has a few dead pixels, but doesn’t interfere with use.The passenger side mirror has some type of brown mark at the bottom edge of the glass (no idea what it is – has always been there).Functionally, the car works and drives great!I would sell this to a close friend or family member without any hesitation. It is a reliable, high performance vehicle that has never left me stranded or had any major unexpected difficulties.

Why Am I Selling It:I love this car and would keep it forever if I could.Unfortunately, we just don’t have room for three cars at our home and this is the one that drew the short straw.

Other Stuff:The car has no warranty and is sold “as is” without any representations. All sales are final.I have tried to be as honest and straightforward as possible. The car is 12 years old (and a perfect 12 year old car is different from a perfect brand new car). You are welcome to come take a look and take it for a test drive (but not a “joy ride”).Bring a mechanic or take it somewhere locally if you want.Any non-destructive inspection is fine with me.The car is for sale through several marketplaces, so act soon if you are interested.
