The car was painstakingly sought after before the transformation began, the goal was to find the perfect carbon black on cinnamon 6 speed car that has full service records and was ordered in the perfect light weight setup which includes manual seats, no heated seats, no sunroof, no sunshade, with the only real option being the Harmon Kardon sound system. Once this car was located, it spent the better part of 4 years being converted over to what BMW should have brought to the US market, including all the OEM CSL go fast parts without the clunky SMG trans. Everything on this car has been redone in the last few thousand miles and it was only driven on nice days and has been garage kept.
