1995 BMW 5-Series Touring Wagon Description
I bought the car in August of 2014 and put considerable time and effort into it. Due to a move and a job change, I just don't have time to finish it. The air conditioner and heat work great. Drive it for a long time as-is or finish it. NO RUST
Driven Daily. Mileage will change.
THE GOOD,
Since 153,000 miles,,, oil and filter changes, New: Air filter, cabin air filter, valve cover gaskets, spark plugs, spark plug boots, and misc. emission and vacuum hoses, fuel gauge sending unit. Differential oil change w/ Castrol synthetic, new hood shocks.
Drained and re-filled transmission and replaced filter twice.
Removed and re-sealed intake manifold, replaced all intake hoses and coolant hoses under intake manifold, replaced throttle body boots.
New: Fan clutch, radiator coolant tank cap, drive belts, belt idler and tensioner pulleys, thermostat and housing, water pump, upper and lower radiator hoses, 4-way coolant hose,
New: Upper control arms with powerflex bushings, lower control arms, sway bar links, front and rear brake pads and rotors, front and rear Bilstein struts/shocks, rear shock mounts.
New: Kuhmo tires and alignment
New: Bluetooth radio
Repaired both front seat adjustment cables. Power seat functions perfect
THE BAD.
Transmission judders in reverse but still works. Sunroof does not work. The front sunroof panel has been removed (included)
THE UGLY
Paint and headliner. Driver's seat torn.
