1996 BMW Z3 Description

Like new. Just over 18K original miles. Silver with Red Leather interior. Destined to be collectible, or get in and drive it every day.
First year BMW Z-3 in Arctic (Silver) with Red Leather seats and Automatic Transmission. Daily driver or a fun second car, this is an amazing roadster. How many BMW convertibles with a little over 18K original miles can be purchased for any price?
Purchased new at Niello BMW in Sacramento on September 30, 1996, with optional metallic paint, red leather interior, and automatic transmission for $35,545.51 out the door. This BMW has been babied. The original owner put just over 5,000 miles on it before selling it to a close friend in 2011. She put an additional 12,000 miles on the vehicle before selling it to me in March 2015. I purchased the car to keep at a vacation home in Palm Springs, California, where it sits under a BMW car-cover in a locked garage. The car is available for sale only because of changed life-circumstances.
Full documentation includes: all of the original sales paperwork (contract, window sticker, misc. accessory brochures, owner audio program, and more); all service records from new. The tires and top were replaced in 2014. The tires because of age. The top because a passerby slashed the original one in a parking lot. The rear brakes, a new rear differential, timing and oil pan seals were installed in 2014 (lack of driving required new seals). The original top boot cover, a BMW car cover are also included.
There may be other 1996 BMW Z-3's available in this condition, but there aren't any nicer. Never in an accident. (The bumpers were repainted by a high-end shop that removed them and repainted them because of parking lot scratches).
