I WILL ADD BETTER PICTURES INCLUDING INTERIOR SHOTS.
This a 1990 BMW M3. Car is currently in California, but it was an East coast car for most of it's life.
I always wanted an E30 M3 so I went for it. There wasplenty of work don on it in the last 6 months since I acquired it and Ihave a bookof receipts. The car is mainly OEM with the exception of the springs and shocks, whichare probably not original, butit looks feel good.
Before I hear the same question again, why am I selling after 6 month it is because: I have baby, I have a house remodeling project and I have other goals to use the funds for. That being said I am not in need of selling. I don't mind using this for another year and enjoy another summer in it.
Clear title, red on black.
SUSPENSION: is straight no rattling, no pulling under breaking, holds straight. Steering wheel does not shimmer. Handbrakes were done. Tires are new Yokohamas on the OEM15" E30 M3 wheels.
ENGINE: compressions was tested 210/200/210/195. Valve adjustment about 200 miles ago. Pulls strong, revs nice.
Clutch was done 500 miles ago and transmission was resealed, flywheel, shifter linkageredone. All necessary parts in the area were replaced. Receipts are available.
BODY: was re-sprayed by previous owner, some over spray at spots, rust was repaired before. Paint is 10 footer, once you get close you can see the issues. I have the Euro Hella Smileys waiting to be connected.
INTERIOR: black leather seats, front seats have no tears and the gas shocks to adjust the passenger side were all changed, driver side works well. Rear seat has tears at the usual spots at the stitching where the sun hits the back. Headliner is perfect. Door panels are in good shape. Dashboard has a minor imperfection.
Speedo, ODO, trip computer, mirrors, door lock, sunroof, wipers, lights all work.
Sony CD player is not operational, OEM speakers are not connected to the stereo, which needs to be rewired. My intention was to restore to sound system to OEM, since I don't believe that a car like this needs modern features. Should be kept as close to original as possible.
The car can be driven as is, it is a head turner. You don't need to service anything on it, but if it is kept for the long run a paintjob will be necessary at some point. That being said I do have 2002-s which I have had for over 10 years without re-spray and the conditions don't get worse.
I own a list of other BMWs: 74' 2002, 88' 635csi, 1999 528i, 1994 325i this is the most expensive one and will have to go eventually. With a baby at home and daily commuting with a train I don't get to drive any of the fun cars anymore. It is a luxury to have 3 fun cars at the moment.
