2000 BMW 7-Series M Sport Description

This is a 2000 BMW 740i M Sport "Sporty Shorty" The wheelbase is shorter, suspension stiffer, and limited slip differential as part of the package. The engine and front end have been rebuilt.I have many receipts and pictures as evidence of the work done. The work is not finished, engine runs but idles a little lopy, has secondary air system engine code. Engine timing may still be off or a sensor malfunctioning. Southern car, no rust. Body is straight. Needs mufflers. Block had good compression, not burning any oil so it was left alone to spare the factory BMW cylinder lining from honing. Hood has a couple dents fromprevious owner fan explosion, common on this model. Passenger side rear window needs windowregulator. Rebuild has about 100 miles on it.The list of new engine parts includes:

• Both heads new valve seals, cleaned, machined at local machine shop (have receipt)

• all gaskets, head bolts, both oil pans, valve covers, exhaust manifold.
• K&N filter
• VANOS professionally rebuild using Besian Systems kit
• fan/ fan clutch
• timing chains/ guides
• Power steering system, hoses
• Intake manifold gaskets, oil separator
• Water pump/ thermostat

Front end:

• Outer tie rods
• Center link
• Sway bar end links
• All 4 control arms
• 2 brand new front tires

Bottom line, I have way more than the asking price invested, but don't have the time to finish. I am selling this as a parts car that is 90% complete. Finish it or part it out. This is drivable butonly shortdistances. Buyer is responsible for all transportation costs and logistics. I require a $500 deposit within 48 hours of auction close.
