1998 BMW 5-Series 540I Description

Up for sale is my e39 drift car. This project started from scratch a couple of year ago. Here is a list of things done so far:*New Bilstein B14 coilovers kit with brand new mounts on all four corners*Chinese but well modified Hydraulic E-brake and a very strong base.*Rear suspension fully overhauled with TRW brand parts.*Stop tech braided stainless brake lines installed on all four corners*Rear diff removed, had it professionally welded with plates in the middle, replaced side covers seals and pinion seal, no leaks from the diff at all and off course fresh oil has been used.*Custom made floor panels with a dead pedal (roughly about 50 hours in labor just to get straight and flush on the floor from front to back).*Custom harness bar and rear X brace mounted on reinforced plates not straight to the body of the car.*Custom seat brackets with driver side slider, stronger than the Corbeau ones.*Corbeau black Forza seats brand new, installed in the last 6 months.*Sablet blue 4 points seat belts brand new installed at the same time*Relocated central lock and flasher buttons.*Sparco hood pins installed and cable deleted.*Did new spark plugs, new fuel pump, new fuel filter, new transmission mounts, K&N filter insert, fresh oil change, new oil filter housing mounts, drain and refill transmission oil.*Luisi steering wheel hub this is an Italian made hub that works on any aftermarket steering wheel pattern, I was not sure what steering wheel I wanted to go with and that is the reason I spend the money on a good quality hub but a cheap Chinese steering wheel for testing reason.*Custom made sunroof delete, was sealed properly so no water leaks what so ever.*ABS pump delete.*Clutch safety switch bypass, meaning you can start this manual car without having to push the clutch in.*turner Motorsports 90mm stud conversion.*20mm spacer/adapter so I can run E46 wheels on it.*15mm spacers up front
Things to do or things that are bad.*Clean up wires.*All four window regulator needs to be fixed, E39 are notorious for regulators failing cause by the stupidplastic rollers BMW used, I know someone who does only window regulators and replace the plastic rollers with metal ones at the cost of $75 each window. I'll be happy to pass on the info to the buyer. My fabricator also made me rear door panels out of the same aluminum material used for the sunroof delete, they are already made and cut to fit with openings for the rear windows switch and inner door handles, I was waiting to fix the regulators before installing them. Panels will be included in the deal.*Flush and bleed brake system with Motul 6000 I have the oil here it will be included in the sale.*This engine is notorious for oil leaks and yes this one has some.*The reverse pops put unless you hold it in by hand, all forward 6 speeds works perfectly.*Delete rear muffler to give it that V8 growl.
Now the Tan Camo color on the trunk is just Plasti-dip Ispayed it on for testing reasons only, I wanted to go with a Tan Camo/Black theme on the outside of the car. Plasti-dip is removable paint, if you don't like the trunk color I'll be happy to remove the tan and show the original color. Please understand that I am focusing on the aspect of this car being a drift car, this not a show car it has plenty of scratches, dings and dents, clear coat is fading, and the front bumper is zip tied on to the fenders.
Two extra rims matching the front ones on the car are also included in the deal. The vehicle is fully ready to drift and compete, please feel free to ask questions. Thank you.

Note: Air conditioning system is still in the car and it is ice cold, I left in on purpose, Texas heat is ridiculous. Thank you.
