2000 BMW Z3 M Roadster Convertible 2-Door Description

2000 Imola Red Z3 M Roadster... (with two tone red/blk leather interior) Better than the one in the James Bond movie "GoldenEye" Why? Because this is a True M Edition with a whopping 270 HP and 0-60 MPH in a quick 5.2 seconds.
Not too shabby, while those stainless steel quad pipes coming out of the back throw out that deep toned crackle while gracefully leaving some rubber on the road.
It will give the Acura NSX a good run and probably beat it too. The 97 NSX comes in at a 5.7 seconds 0-60. a half a second slower than your Z3M.
The car is pretty much in awesome shape. It needs a few small items to complete it's restoration. Maybe a light bumper touch up on the front (small rock chip on hood) see pic. The back speaker in the center needs to be replaced. It could use new rubber bushings for the center console storage door. Cheap fix, literally a few bucks. I just don't have the time.
Everything works perfectly on the car and has no issues. It drives like a beast and handles like a dream. Very solid on the road and gets many looks and compliments. It has new tires 95% tread left (paid over $1,200 for Michelin Pilots). Always used synthetic oils (has new oil change). I also have a new K&N air filter in it.
The push button rag top is also in great condition and works like new.
This is a car that will continue to rise in value and will soon be a 20 year classic, in 2020. Once you hit that year I predict the value will shoot up 5-10k if you keep low mileage on it.
I bought it from a friend of mine who had it for over 12 years. He moved a few years ago and I took it off his hands and babied it (stored in my garage) and only driven a few days a month on nice days. I took it down to Houston, a 4 hour drive once and it really was comfortable for a 2 door roadster. I mean, nice on the road, it felt as if you were in a solid 545 4 door BMW sedan... until you decided to hit the throttle and maneuver in and out of some traffic.
Otherwise it's all stock!
Why am I selling? Well, honestly I am a car guy and I have too many cars. I am trying to free up some space. I don't need to sell it and if it doesn't sell (because I am just testing the waters) I will just hold on to it. The reserve is set at a reasonable price as I am not looking to make big money on it, willing to let it go for a little over what I paid for it.
Thank you for checking it out and let me know if you have any questions!

There was a typo on the description. It said 270HP, it's actually 240HP with the S52 inline 6 engine*
