1997 BMW M3 Description

Purchased as a stripped shell back in 2013, built and raced at the 2014 & 2015 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, finished both times. Raced Global Time Attack NOLA in 2015, finished 3rd in Unlimited RWD. Raced at WRL @ MSR Houston in March 2017, set fastest lap both days. Raced at WRL @ Texas World Speedway in May 2017, won 1st in GP2 and 3rd overall. I built this car from the ground up and have thousands and thousands of hours in it, it's a VERY comfortable and solid car. During the last race at Texas World Speedway we busted the left front strut about an hour into the race - we still won our class and got 3rd overall on it, but it was a touch bouncy and it will need to be replaced before the car is raced or tracked. Car is driveable as it is.

The larger Brooks Motorsport wing shown in the last few photos was damaged and is not included; the mounts/endplates for it are included with the sale, however. I'll also include the safety stands for the air jacks, as well as the wand/nozzle filler doodle and the hose, tank, cart, and regulator.
Fluids were checked and topped off/refreshed, compression and leakdown test were performed, and oil was changed with Valvoline VR1 20W50 FOLLOWING the leakdown/compression tests on 7/4/17.
Compression is 165-168-165-165-168-170psi and leakdown is 18-12-15-10-10-15% as of our pre-oil-change warm-engine tests done on 7/4/17.
Vehicle weight without driver: 2995lbs: LF 797, RF 719, LR 438, RR 741
HP/TQ as measured on a Dynocom Dyno at Houston Z on 7/5/17: Test results pending.
