2000 BMW 3-Series 323i Description

Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to check out each of the nearly 80 photos and read this entire description, as well as our Terms & Conditions, carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 2000 BMW 323iT. If you're reading this, you probably already know how hard wagons are to find. I would rate the exterior of this 323iT to be in BELOW AVERAGE CONDITION for it's age and mileage. She is finished in Fern Green over Sand, which is a good color combination. The finish shines nicely for it's age and looks smooth all around. As you can see in the photos, both front fenders are noticeably dented. Aside from that, please expect to find normal wear associated with an older vehicle...such as scratches, dings and other various blemishes. All of the trim and moldings are present. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and tail gate all open and close easily. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in nice rubber. Tire tread is on the thin side of average all around. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully. I would rate the interior of this 323i to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for it's age and mileage. The door cards show some age but are tight and intact. The carpets also show a few marks from age but are not excessively worn. The dash and headliner are clean. Both front seats are power operated. The leather seats show some age but are not excessively worn and seating is comfortable throughout the cabin. The RF window will need a new regulator. The other three windows, as well as the power seats, locks and mirrors work properly. The sunroof tilts up but does not slide and will need adjusted to align and close properly. The audio system is original and probably works...but the power / volume knob is throwing a fit (which is common as these cars age) and won't do anything. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. The heater works well and the air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR, too. The cargo area is spacious and clean. Again, please check out each of the photos carefully. Mechanically, this BMW appears to be in good running condition. The 2.5L inline six cylinder engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are good for an older vehicle. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. Steering and braking feel good, too. I did notice a vibration in the steering at around 50-ish mph (you don't feel it so much going slower or faster) and you can feel it while turning at speed so I'd say she's probably due for control arms at some point soon. The engine keeps proper temperature and feels strong. The check engine light is on. The codes are a down stream oxygen sensor and a system lean code, so nothing that really impacts how the vehicle drives. She hits the road nice and straight. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly with zero issues. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight. This wagon will need a little TLC to be her best, but it's a good / solid foundation (or just driver her the way she is) and wagons are hard to find. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.
