The car is a 1999 White BMW M3. The car runs and drives strong, it is an absolute blast. The car has been to several car shows and local cars and coffees.
The car had a PPI (Pre-Purchase Inspection) done when we purchased it, and has been to a BMW-racing specialist mechanic. Both loved the car and gave passing reviews.
Note from PO on the title:
"Car was in a minor hit. Mostly cosmetic damage to fender, front bumper, and hood. No airbags even deployed. It was all fixed by Prestige Auto of USA a reputable company. Passed inspection and all."
The car currently has a rebuilt title in hand.
The car was originally purchased as a weekend/track car(extra car) we did not end up doing any track events with the car, used mainly as a weekend car and driven to car shows.
The car was purchased with several aftermarket items, as well as some added since our ownership:
Mods on the car at the time of purchase:
-New OEM thermostat
-Aluminum thermostat housing
-Mishimoto aluminum radiator
-Died Imola red Interior
-Depo projector headlights
-Weighted zhp shift knob
-New cabin filter
-Aftermarket exhaust (no cats or O2 sensors)
Aftermarket parts added after purchase (All done in the past 12 months)
-Koni shocks & Springs
-LCAB pocket reinforcement plate
-Steering rack/pinion
-BMW Power steering fluid
-Tensioner assembly
-Tensioner pulley
-Idler pulley
-Mobil 1 75w90 with LSD friction modifier
-New battery
As you can see there are several thousands of dollars upgraded parts, and very recent maintenance.
The aftermarket exhaust removed the o2 sensors on the car, causing it to throw a check engine light. The light was cleared and checked several times and there are no other reappearing codes. This does, however, cause the light to always be on.
The headliner and sunroof liner have begun to fall down and could use attention, but it is not terrible as of now.
The car has functional AC as well as a full interior.
The dye on the seats has begun to crack since the original dye was applied. The PO, fortunately, has included the left over Imola paint used to dye the interior. This paint could be reapplied to touch up the seats.
Thanks for looking
