2001 BMW M5 Description

This is a very well sorted out M5 belonging to my best friend who is looking to thin out his collection a bit. He picked this one up a little less than 2 years ago and immediately went to work refreshing the car mechanically and cosmetically. All maintenance is up to date and I wouldn't hesitate driving this car anywhere anytime. The paint shows really nice with no signs of oxidation and minimal wear. This is the hottest time of year here in Las Vegas and it runs perfect. The interior has leather everywhere, even the dash. There are no tears anywhere and only minor wear as you should expect from a 2001 model year. The AC is plenty cold even in 115 degree heat. It is now an even more solid and super strong running sedan. I can't really think of another 4 door rocket ship that has a proven reliability record like the e39 M5. This is probably why these cars are going up in value these days. This M5 runs flawlessly with no hiccups hesitations, dead spots in acceleration, lifter noises etc... It purs just like it should. The oil has recently been changed in the last 200 miles with Motul full synthetic As time goes on it's becoming more difficult to come across clean, tastefully upgraded e39s like this. It's been a pleasure to drive and the new owner of this car should enjoy many trouble free miles for years to come. What blows my mind is how much car you get for the money. The E39 M5 was my dream car when it came out but they were selling for $100k plus which was far out of most people's reach. Good thing the E39 M5 has proven to be one of the most reliable cars made by BMW and is also much more affordable today.
Some of the recent maintenance/upgrades include:
-New brakes and rotors-Stainless steel brake lines-New motor mounts-New transmission mounts-Resonator delete (not loud at all but sounds much more muscular)-New top end seals-Koni Suspension (gives an amazing stance while retaining a smooth sporty ride)-UUC Short Throw Shifter (I love the way this car clicks through the gears)-All front ball joints replaced-New interior anthracite trim panels
