Dealer serviced at BMW Monterey through the warranty period, and after warranty through Richard Chiang of Infinite Auto Tech (formerly DynoSpot Racing). Drivetrain components were never modified and 100% stock. The ECU has never been flashed, or have run any piggyback software such as JB4 or Cobb. Exhaust is also stock.
The "Bad":- Headlights function fine but there is a relay from the passenger side powering the driver side which is triggering a fault code and preventing the Active Xenon to function correctly. Infinite Auto Tech is currently troubleshooting this believes it's the footwell module. I have a replacement unit that I have not yet installed and will include with the sale. It may or may not fix the issue.
- TPMS is not working correctly with the BBS CH-R's. Not sure why but it's triggering TPMS warnings on the iDrive system. This is typically not a concern, but it stops the iDrive functions when in fault mode meaning it's not possible to toggle through the iDrive menus when the fault is triggered. Infinite Auto Tech can code the TPMS off, but I do not drive this car enough to go through the hassle.
- Battery, it's indicating it needs a new battery. I don't drive the car enough and don't usually have it hooked up to a trickle charger. It could just need a re-flash, or a new battery ($200)
- Driver's seat bolster shows some wear. Can be re-dyed or conditioned. Sale will include nearly all if not all stock components including original wheels/tires.
