1996 BMW M3 Luxury Description

Update! As added in recenteBay "note", if M3 is purchased at asking price I will include in the sale for no extra cost the gold BBS BMW Style 5 rims, which are newly refinished with excellent tires, center caps, turner wheel spacers, and extended lug nuts needed to run the wheels.
Boston Green Metallic with Modena leather interior. Standard shift. Luxury package.Very late 96 production car, with the newer, all stock 3.2 liter drivetrain (one month shy of a 1997). Runs and drives beautifully, with no mechanical woes. Engine idles smooth and quiet, with no excessive oil consumption (only the normal 0.75-1qt per oil change) and pulls strongly. Shifts smooth, clutch engages smoothly, with no slipping. Quiet gearbox and diff.
I am the third owner and have owned it for over 8 years. The car is originally from Washington DC, then Stratham, NH, then Buffalo. Previously cared for by Turner Motorsports in NH, (previous owner was an employee). Tons of new parts and work. Folder of receipts. Not daily driven. Never in the winter. Very well maintained. Over all the paint is in good to very good condition, expect to see 20 years worth of age however. Zero door dings. It's really a nice car, very clean. Not smoked in. Never ate in. Driver seat bolster shows normal wear. Passenger seat has small tear. Ultimately it is a very nice example of a survivor that is unmolested and not beat, and it shows.
Proper BMW Business CD player from Z roadster with 6 disc changer in trunk. Currently the M has newly refinished and freshly powder coated black DS1 BMW Motorsport wheels on it with excellent Sumitomo tires. Bilstein sport struts in front and new Koni adjustable shocks in rear. H&R lowering springs. Rear trailing arm bushing limiters installed, poly rear trailing arm bushings installed, weld-in subframe reinforcement plates, poly transmission mounts, secondary air pump delete using Turner plug and play chip, motorsport under body x-brace, stainless brake lines. Replaced climate control computer, replaced final stage unit (blower resistor unit). Newer drive shaft flex disc. Central locks, factory alarm with key FOB. (Key fob needs to be married to alarm.) Factory OEM rear wing with brake light. (No double third brake light in rear window). UUC U cat back exhaust. Sun roof tilts and slides as it should. New upper strut mounts. Reinforced rear shock towers. New alternator. New fan clutch. Headliner professionally reupholstered by Bittermans upholstery auto shop. Tune up done and coolant system refresh done a few years ago. Brand new front and rear drilled and slotted rotors and new front and rear brake pads.
For purists, the bad; last year I bumped in to the back of another car at a red light. The light turned green, upon acceleration the car in front of me slammed on the brakes mid intersection, the speed was under 10 MPH. Damage was purely cosmetic and not structural. The proper work was completed by a restoration shop. The hood is original and has been repainted, grille has been replaced with the updated '97 version and painted, the front bumper cover has been replaced and painted. There is a small bubble right above the driver side wheel well. The good: no vast amount of front end rock chips.Again, zero door dings.
I have the fog lights for the car, as well as the lower front bumper lip.
Car has averaged about 9,500 miles a year.
Overall a very nice M3 that is well preserved, looks good, sounds good, is comfortable, and quick.
Any questions please feel free to ask!
