2002 BMW M3 Description

Original owner, ordered from factory without power seats (to save weight), with Sunroof (there goes some of that weight savings), no accidents, well maintained. Modified ($20K+)
• ActiveAutowerke Stage 1.5 Supercharger was installed at 162K by Turner Motor Sport 4 years ago.AA has this kit rated at 500 bhp (about 400 bhp at the wheel.)This is a significant performance upgrade and I am listing higher compared to a stock M3. It has all the suspension mods.• BMW Competition Package Wheel 19 x 8 | 19 x 9.5• Continental Extreme Contact DW (1K mi)• UUC Short Shift + DSSR• TMSAdjustableFront Camber/Caster Plates and Rear Camber Arms• H&R Coil Over suspension (reinforced rear mounts and plates)• StopTech Front Big Brake Kit• TMS Sway Bars with Adjustable Links• DICE MediaBridge
In past 2 years using another car as my daily driver, and only 1K miles on M3 so the decision to sell. It is a classic and always getscompliments.Driven mostly highway miles. Currently in Maspeth, NY 11378.
Concerned about the highmileage? Please note that unlike some M3s I've seen listed with half the mileage/ 5 owners/ and a list of major parts that have been replaced, this M3 been mostly garage and very well taken care of... has had remarkably little unscheduled service history:
Ignition coils (100K)Camshaft Position Sensor (185K)Fuel Pump (205K)
Everything is working and has been recentlymaintained. Valve Gasket replaced with service last month.Battery replaced 8 months ago. Tires essentially new... about 1K milessince changed. Engine is strong, burns normal amount of oil for its age and the engine has never been opened.
I am on the original clutch (and it does not currently need to be changed). This should give you a good idea of the history and the condition of the car.
The paint and body overall is in good condition (a few minor bumps and scratches) the front shows road rash as expected with lots of high speed hwy miles. Inside is also in good shape. Some loose headliner fabric on the pillars, and the trim kit for the center console has the wrinkling caused by the bad M3 rear view mirror gas leaking... mirror replaced/new trim kitsavailable for couple of hundred bucks.)
I had the e36 M3 before this one. Out of the box, I thought the e36 was better (more agile) than the e46... With the mods, which I did over a period of years at Turner, it is an entirely different car.
Thanks for your interest and good luck!
