2001 BMW 540i 6 Speed with Hamann Style Kit, Exhaust, Dinan Mods, CLEAN!

2001 BMW 5-Series Description

Selling my 2001 BMW 540i with 6-Speed Manual Transmission and Navigation package. I have owned it for about 5 years and it has been the greatest and most reliable car Ive owned. I was told when I bought it that they were great cars that lasted forever and now I believe it! Car still runs incredibly strong with around 148,000 miles on the odometer.
I bought it in its current modified state. Previous owner told me he installed a full Hamann style kit, Magnaflow Exhaust (sounds really mean!!), Dinan cold air intake, Dinan performance chip, and he painted the roof black which I think looks great with the silver! Car looks really clean for its age and gets looks everywhere I drive it.
As far as the condition, theres a small dent on the hood, scratches on the left corner rear bumper, clear coat starting to come off of the door handles only, scratch on the trunk just in front of the rear spoiler which didnt show up in photos but I made sure to take photos of everything listed. Interior has been kept impeccably clean, the only signs of wear are on the front seats which I tried to show in the photos and the drivers seat has a small tear in the side bolster which can be easily patched.
Car has been serviced at Sun Valley Imports in Tempe, AZ ever since I bought it. They specialize in Mercedes and BMW. I have also done a decent amount of service on the car myself over the years as its very easy to work on the e39. I used to build race engines for vintage cars, everything from Cosworth 2L engines for Formula Atlantic series to 600ci Big Block Chevy motors for the Can-Am series so I have a lot of experience working on cars. Update 7/21/16: Just got the car back from Sun Valley Imports for the pre sale check and they said one of the motor mounts looked like it was going to go bad soon so I just had them replace both motor mounts. Car drives perfect, and driving home from the shop I forgot just how fun it is to drive!!
