2002 BMW 5-Series Description

I am the third owner, bought in 2013. 2nd owner bought in 2005, original owner bought in Germany, as a US resident. BMW Records show the car as "military diplomatic deliver." The car has super rare E38 Active seats found in the 7-series. Active seats message your legs and back-side as you drive.
Car drives and runs great, averages 27-30 miles the gallon on the highway, 27 around town.
I have tons of records, including records from the 2nd owner. I have performed Black stone oil analysis since I've owned the car for the last 39K miles. Engine is in tip-top shape.
Car has Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires, in stock 17" square sizes. Car has genuine BBS style 29 16" wheels as winter tires in Michelin X-Ice tires sold extra - not included with car
Summary of work performed on the car since I've owned it:All new suspension, shocks, struts, control arms, bushings, end links
  • Rebuilt steering rack and hoses
  • New cooling system overhaul
  • New hard brake lines from master cylinder to all four corners, original ones were corroded
  • New rotors and pads, new rear calipers
  • New clutch and flywheel
  • New started
  • New oil-pan gasket and oil filter housing
  • Has upgraded DVD navigation with MKIV DVD systems (found in 2004 model year cars unless retrofitted)
  • Fluid flushes: rear diff, transmission, brake fluid

Blackstone labs report from 3/16:

***** UPDATED 8/12/16 ************
Up for sale is a classic. This gear will go down in history has one of the best driving, best looking sports sedan of all time. This car is in great shape mechanically and cosmetically. Naturally, there is some road rash as to be expected, but you will not find a face-lifted E39 non M car that has had as much service and remediation as this car. This car literally needs nothing. Just drive it for the next 100K miles. Change the oil, flush fluids and drive.
