2002 BMW 5-Series 540ia Description

I have a 2002 BMW 540i M-sport (540ia) I am parting ways with. This car is in an overall 8/10. 155k on car, 175k on replacement dash (have original), body is clean, absolute minimal surface rust such as small rock chips in hood ect. No cancer, rust out spots, bubbling. New Nexen rear tires less than 3k on tires, euro angel eye head lights, extra auxiliary rad. Fan and relay installed, OEM fan clutch has been replaced, aftermarket catch can. Interior is 8/10. Both led displays work, main was rebuilt, all pixels accounted for and bright, dash display is in working condition but does fade in and out from time to time.Shines up VERY nicely. Lots of trunk space. Rear electric privacy screen works, all sunroof functions work. Fog lights are in good condition and work. New windshield and rain sensing unit. All steering wheel controls and interface controls work. Original key/fob included.

Motor is a Vanos, M62TUB44. Has been diagnosed with needing timing chain guides/valve work. Runs and drives but experiences loss of power, smokes from time to time due to OSV intermittance(common). Transmission was serviced during trouble shooting. WILL NEED TOWED. Exhaust was custom fabricated about 1 year ago, good tone but not loud or obnoxious.The final stage resistor for heat/ac will need replaced (common flaw, cheap OEM fix) electronic seats work, but cabling has stretched and they will need adjusted, seat position memory and heated seat function as well as all other funtions are working. Had carpets detailed and cleaned, leather was cleaned and conditioned. I converted all interior and trunk lights/license plate lights to LED with GLUX Lighting kit made for BMW. PA Inspected. Staggered/offset perfomance wheels were part of the M-Sport package, three spoke steering wheel, performance suspension, sport bucket seats with intense bolstering, telescopic steering wheel with hand controls, shadow window and body trim panels. Sound system is nice, crisp sound. Business class CD player, with plug and play for 6 Disc BMW deck, and BMW business phone. Back up assist mirrors work. Everything is M Badged and genuine.
