Here is your chance to own a extremely rare 1995 BMW 540I M SPORT. BMW did not make a M5 in 1995 for the U.S. market and instead, decided to make a limited run of 200 total M sport 540i's. Limited to 135manual6 speed cars and 65 automatic, this car is a great investment and awesome vehicle to bring around to all the local car meets. BMW equipped the M-Sport cars with all the same equipment as the e34 M5, sans the expensive to maintain S38 inline engine.
This M Sport is equipped with a 4.0l M60 V8 that is making roughly 350hp with the help of some supporting mods and is mated to a 6 speed transmission that shifts absolutely perfect! The V8 engine fires right up and runs very well. No drivetrain or suspension noise present. The exhaust has been extensively modified over about a year to find the perfect tone setup. The car is not running any cats at themoment.Suspension is tight at all 4 corners with new hardware andupgradedcomponents. The PDC electronic suspension has been removed in place of a much simpler and better handling setup. The racing dynamic front and rear sway bars are amazing! The 540i corners flat and hasno body flex.
We have owned the car for the past 2 years and have loved every second. It did great as a promotion vehicle for my dealership and drew a ton of attention at all the shows. There is a 56 page build thread on the car somewhere on bimmerforums ifyou'rebored and looking to kill a few hours. The paint shows extremely well and is in great condition for its age, frontbumperhas beenresprayedrecently to prepare for sale. Car has been garage kept.
