2003 BMW 5-Series M-Sport Description

This is a 2003 5 Series M-Sport with 5-Speed Manual. It has 115,000 miles and is still running good. The body has some fading/oxidation in some places as to be expected on a 13 year old car. There is spider cracking on the hood that extends about a one foot radius about the emblem. But it is otherwise free of dents and the car still looks good. The front and rear glass were remolded last month and so there is no cracked rubber there. The windshield has no cracks nor chips and is BMW glass with factory emblem on the glass. The wheels are original Cross Spoke 42/17, there is some corrosion on the 4 running wheels but otherwise look good and more importantly hold air pressure very well. The 4 Yokohama tires still have plenty tread. The full-size Continental Spare is hubbed by a corrosion-free Cross Spoke 42. The seats, carpet, dashboard, headliner and trim are free of splits and tears. But the Sill plates on all doors except the front passenger door are cracking and would look better replaced. This car can be made Showroom with ($4000.00) on paint and ($1500.00) on wheels and ($700.00) on fixing seat twist and ($150.00) replacing door sills. The rear passenger "taillight assembly"** needs to be replaced**, Getting "Brake Light, BackUp Light Warning" on dash, estimate $300.00 to repair. And Inspection II** service is due. Of course your estimates can be better or worse. Or you can simply drive/enjoy the car as it is. It still looks good and drives great. I changed the oil last month (Mobil Synthetic) and so it is good for another 5000 miles. This is a beautiful car but understand it is an old car with 115,000 miles and will require maintenance to keep it looking and running strong.
